Why do you include a complementary engagement session?
Some couples like to have a nice photo to put into the newspaper for their engagement announcement, and others like to display a large print of their favourite engagement photo at the wedding reception. I enjoy the engagement sessions because it's an excellent opportunity for me to get to know you - what you like and what you don't like. - It's a great practice run before the wedding so you can see how I work and have the opportunity to work closely with me so we feel more comfortable with one another by the time the wedding day arrives
How many photos do you normally take at a wedding?
I do not limit the number of photos I take at any wedding but I average about 100photos/hr. In a 10 hour day I can easily have 1000 images or more and then edit that down to 300 finished proofs. Many of the images you don't see are duplicated images, which were taken to ensure that no one was blinking, or were very similar poses which I'll choose the best image to save you from unnecessary sorting.
Can we have Black and White and/or Sepia?
Absolutely! Any photo can be printed in colour, black and white, sepia or any of my custom processes: Infrared black and white, sepia dream, selective colour.
Are digital files/negatives included?
Yes! You get your wedding photos on disk so that you may continue to print what you wish for friends and family.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, I have Professional Indemnity and Liability insurance.
Do you have backup equipment?
Definitely! You never know when something could fail at an important moment. I always carry three camera bodies with me as well as four lenses.
What kind of camera equipment do you own?
I shoot with three professional Canon SLR's, and professional Canon "L" series lenses for ultimate image quality.
What do you wear to weddings?
A simple black or grey dress suit.
Do you travel?
I am happy to travel as I always look forward to new locations. Travel fees may apply.
Can you supply Thank You cards?
Yes, you can select an image from your wedding day which will then be printed onto a card to send to all your guests. They are unique and individual to you and always receive a good response from recipients. These are printed in batches of 25 and include envelopes.
I hope this has helped to answer most of your questions. If you have any more, please feel free to send me an email or give me a call and I would be happy to discuss them with you.
